SysON 2026.5 streamlines your modeling workflow with advanced multi-selection capabilities and batch actions, making element creation faster and more intuitive.
Multi-Selection Actions
As diagrams grow in complexity and contain more elements, updating them can be time-consuming. To simplify your workflow, we've introduced new multi-selection actions such as Duplicate Element, View As, and Add Existing Elements.
The new multi-selection View As feature lets you update the representation of multiple elements at once, saving valuable time:
Intuitive/Smart creation dialog
We've streamlined element management. Instead of navigating multiple creation paths, a single creation action now opens an intuitive dialog where you can choose whether to create a new element or reference an existing one. Combined with our new explorer-style library organization, this significantly accelerates your modeling workflow. Standard library candidates are now grouped under a dedicated Libraries category, making element selection faster and reducing visual clutter.
This new creation workflow is available for Actor, Stakeholder, Subject, Objective, Perform Action, PerformActionUsage, and FlowUsage.
Enhanced Experience & New Content
You can now introduce a temporal dimension into your models using Timeslices and Snapshots, which can be created directly from OccurrenceUsage, ItemUsage, and PartUsage graphical nodes. This is just our first step toward richer temporal modeling support, and future releases will take this even further, so stay tuned!
You can now define Stakeholders directly from Requirements and Concerns.
Stakeholders can then be displayed either as dedicated graphical nodes or directly within element compartments, providing greater flexibility when visualizing stakeholder relationships.
We’ve enhanced diagram intelligence by:
- Displaying only valid options when creating
FlowsfromPortUsage,ItemUsage, andReferenceUsage; - Making the
Perform Actiontool directly available fromCaseUsage,CaseDefinition,UseCaseUsage, andUseCaseDefinition; - Improving graphical rendering when resizing
Documentationelements.
We're improving the way expressions are managed and displayed. Starting with this release, you can now view the full textual expression directly in the Model Explorer, making complex expressions easier to inspect and understand:
These enhancements are designed to make your day-to-day modeling experience smoother, faster and more efficient.
And we're just getting started: more improvements are already on the way, particularly around next-generation expression management. Stay tuned!
